Bumble Bags - Care Kits for Cancer Treatment

The mission of the Humble Bumble Project is to alleviate even the slightest amount of financial burden faced by pediatric, adolescent, and adulthood cancer families so parents and caregivers can focus on family rather than finance.

Bumble Bags are small kits that are filled with simple essentials for cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy treatments at infusion centers located within UPMC – Hillman Cancer Center (Wellsboro/Williamsport/Coudersport, PA) and James P. Wilmot Cancer Center (Rochester, NY).

Each Bumble Bag contains the following items (may change periodically):

  • Hand sanitizer

  • Single-use hand sanitizer

  • Hand lotion

  • Travel tissues

  • Lip balm

  • Ginger chews

  • Playing cards

  • Sleep balm

  • Dunkin’ coffee coupons (Wellsboro locations only)

  • Hand-drawn cards from area school children

  • Hand molded clay bumblebees

  • Puzzle books
